Certification

HVP have a vision of respecting our communities and having them value us. For this to occur we need to get better at telling our story of economic growth and community support. Our staff identify with the adage ‘We do the right thing when no-one is watching.’ This resonates with us, it is a true reflection of the often misunderstood role of the Australian forester. We are conservationists! We love forests, we live in forests, and we depend on a healthy and sustainable environment to work, earn and live. Yet misconceptions remain. Certification systems provide an independent, third party assessment of our business and operational performance so the public, customers, neighbours, even our investors can have confidence that we are doing the right thing.

HVP believe we do things well, but we are always looking to do them even better. The environment, social, and business certification systems we comply with help us to continually improve our systems and practices, ultimately benefiting the environment and our communities.
