Fire danger plantation closures: Ballarat district

Fire danger conditions

Due to the forecast fire danger, HVP’s plantations are closed in the Ballarat district to all access on Monday 16 December 2024.

This closure applies to all types of recreation, and forest operations are also paused for the day. Only fire brigade patrollers and emergency responders are authorised access these plantations.

Ballarat District

Closed locations include: Ballarat, Basalt/Wombat, Bradvale, Bungal, Carngham, Castlemaine, Daylesford, Durham, Macedon, Mt Lonarch, Scarsdale, Spargo, Yarrowee.
